Manga Vega is offering a special poster for Presque mariés, loin d'être amoureux, a romantic comedy manga that has been highly requested by fans in France. The manga will begin publication in France on October 9 by Vega editions, and the launch will include a limited-time gift: a front and back poster available exclusively on the publisher’s online store while supplies last. The series, originally titled Fūfu Ijō, Koibito Miman in Japan, gained international attention in 2022 with an animated adaptation that aired on the streaming platform Crunchyroll. Presque mariés, loin d'être amoureux is the debut work of mangaka Yuki Kanamaru. It first appeared in Japan in 2018 in the Young Ace magazine published by Kadokawa and has since been collected into thirteen volumes. In France, the manga will be released in double volumes, each priced at 14€. The covers of these volumes will be reversible, meaning they will not include any of the covers from the original Japanese edition. The story follows Jiro, a shy teenager who is in love with his childhood friend, and Akari, a popular high school student who also hoped to be paired with someone else. As part of a special high school program, students are required to form fake couples and live together. Jiro and Akari are paired, and as they spend more time together, they begin to develop feelings for each other despite their initial expectations. The series explores themes of relationships, personal growth, and the complexities of young love. The manga has been well-received for its engaging characters, light-hearted humor, and subtle romantic undertones. Its release in France marks an important step in making the work more accessible to a new audience, and the inclusion of the poster as a promotional item reflects the publisher’s commitment to engaging with its fan community. Fans are encouraged to visit the online store to secure the limited-edition poster, which will only be available for a short period.
