Brad Pitt continues to be a major figure in Hollywood, even as he deals with legal and personal issues from his divorce from Angelina Jolie. The couple's high-profile split, which started in 2016, has led to a lengthy legal battle over a French winery and recent changes to the surnames of four of their children. Jolie filed for divorce in 2016, claiming she was physically and emotionally abused by Pitt on a flight, a claim he denied. Both have been involved in public disputes, with Pitt accusing Jolie of turning their children against him, a charge she has also denied. Despite these challenges, Pitt has continued to be successful in his acting career. His recent film, "Heart of the Beast," is part of a series of successful projects, including "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood," which earned him an Academy Award in 2020. Pitt has been careful in his recent press appearances, avoiding direct discussion of his personal life. He has spoken about past struggles, including a time when he felt suicidal and a recent period where he stopped his sobriety, but he hasn't gone into detail about these issues. Meanwhile, Tom Cruise has faced his own set of challenges, including reports of an estranged child who has changed their surname. Cruise's recent interviews have been less focused on personal matters, instead highlighting his passion for filmmaking. While both Pitt and Cruise are sometimes called the last real movie stars, Pitt's ability to manage public perception and keep his career on track is particularly notable. Both actors have maintained a strong presence in the entertainment industry despite personal and legal difficulties. Pitt's career continues to thrive, and his recent projects have reinforced his reputation as a respected and accomplished actor. His careful handling of media appearances and his focus on his professional achievements suggest that he is determined to keep his career at the forefront, even as he navigates the complexities of his personal life.
