The Museum of Music in Paris is currently hosting an exhibition titled My Rock Stars, dedicated to the Moroccan artist Hassan Hajjaj. The exhibition will remain open until April 25, 2027, and showcases around forty portraits of both famous and anonymous individuals, including many international celebrities and Hajjaj’s personal friends. Each portrait features the subject wearing outfits designed by Hajjaj, which blend traditional Moroccan styles with modern urban fashion. The artist paid close attention to small details, such as glasses and socks, and used recycled materials, especially bright tin cans from local stores, to frame the photographs. Some of the actual outfits worn by the models are also displayed in the exhibition. The exhibition includes a unique soundtrack created by the group Acid Arab, which fuses traditional Arab music with electronic beats and global rhythms. To engage younger visitors, the museum offers a game booklet for children aged six and older, designed to help them explore Hajjaj’s artistic world and learn about his work in photography, design, and music. The Museum of Music provides guided tours of the exhibition for all visitors. For families with children aged eight and older, a special workshop titled "Oriental connection" is available. This session introduces participants to Oriental music before they visit the exhibition. The museum’s educational service also invites teachers to visit the exhibition by reservation on Wednesday, October 14, and Friday, October 16. Educational visits are available for school groups up to the sixth grade for free, or they can choose a guided tour with a speaker tailored to the age and level of students from CE2 (a French primary school grade) to the final year of secondary school. A workshop titled "Oriental Pulsations" is also planned for students from CM1 (another French primary grade) to the final year of secondary school. In this workshop, students will practice playing Oriental music after exploring the exhibition.
