The Flash Days Prime event has started, offering consumers the chance to upgrade or replace older monitors or purchase new ones to pair with Apple’s Mac mini computers. Retailers like Amazon are running promotions that extend beyond just Prime members, with several high-end monitors now available at reduced prices. One notable example is Japannext’s 27-inch 5K screen, now priced at 550 euros on Amazon—down from 650 euros at its initial release. While this monitor focuses on core features with somewhat limited connectivity options, it remains a compelling choice for those seeking a 5K display at a lower cost. For users who don’t require 5K resolution, the ASUS ROG Strix XG32UCDS is a strong option. This 31.5-inch 4K monitor features a QD-OLED panel capable of reaching up to 165 Hz, and it’s currently on sale for 643.64 euros on Amazon—significantly lower than its usual price of 750 euros. Those looking for a more advanced 5K monitor might consider the ViewSonic VP2788, which is now available for 815 euros, a substantial discount from its previous price of 1,139 euros. This model includes more comprehensive connectivity options and excellent ergonomics, with support for Thunderbolt 4, making it a versatile choice for professionals. BenQ has also introduced a 5K monitor tailored for Mac users: the PD2730S. This 27-inch matte display includes a small "puck" remote for quick access to settings and is now available for 1,000 euros during the Flash Days Prime event, a reduction of 99 euros from its standard price. Meanwhile, Asus’s PA32UCDM, a 31.5-inch 4K QD-OLED monitor, is now priced at 1,186 euros—down from 1,850 euros at its launch. It can reach up to 240 Hz and 1,000 nits in HDR, making it especially appealing for video editing and content creation. These discounts highlight the variety of options available for those looking to upgrade their display setups.
