Inio Asano to attend Brussels Book Fair

Japanese manga author Inio Asano has been invited to the Brussels Book Fair, which will run from March 18 to 21, 2027, at the Tour & Taxis complex. This will mark his first appearance in Belgium and his return to a French-speaking audience over seven years after his visit to France in 2020.

Asano’s return to French-speaking audience

Asano last appeared before a French-speaking audience at the Angoulême International Comics Festival in 2020. His participation in Brussels will be his first in Belgium, offering fans in the region a chance to see him in person after this long gap.

Kana Editions to host Asano at the fair

Kana Editions, a French publisher, will host Asano during the fair. The publisher shared a brief message from the mangaka confirming his attendance, though specific details about his activities at the event have not yet been disclosed.

New series Mujina Into The Deep nearing its fourth volume

Kana Editions has published the first three volumes of Asano’s latest series, Mujina Into The Deep. The fourth volume is expected to release in November 2027, assuming the publisher’s schedule remains unchanged.

Asano’s other notable works

In addition to Mujina Into The Deep, Inio Asano is known for other works such as Bonne Nuit Punpun, Solanin, and Dead Dead Demon's DeDeDeDe Destruction, each of which has garnered attention for its unique storytelling and artistic style.
