The prices of high-end televisions from 2025 have dropped, offering a chance to buy top-tier OLED and Mini-LED models at lower costs. Several models have been tested and are especially worth considering now. High-end TVs from last year are now more appealing, and this might be the best time to buy before the 2025 models arrive. This is the case with the LG 55G5 and Samsung 55S95F, two excellent OLED and QD-OLED models now priced around 1300 euros. For those who prefer a larger screen, the TCL 65C89K offers a 65-inch panel and impressive brightness for around 900 euros. The LG 55G5 features a Tandem OLED panel that achieved a peak brightness of 2330 cd/m² in HDR during testing, surpassing the Samsung S95F. It has a delta E of 1.8 in SDR and 1 in HDR, providing an accurate image with minimal blooming. It also supports gaming with four HDMI 2.1 ports, low latency, and compatibility with 4K 120 Hz, VRR, and ALLM. However, its anti-reflective treatment is less effective than that of the Samsung, and a separate stand must be purchased if not mounted on the wall. The 55-inch model is priced at 1300 euros. The Samsung 55S95F has a QD-OLED panel reaching 2170 cd/m² in HDR with accurate colors, infinite contrast, and wide viewing angles. Its real advantage is the screen's surface with a reflectance of only 6 percent, making it suitable for bright environments. It also includes a separate box for installation. However, it lacks Dolby Vision, has an integrated sound that lacks depth, and blacks that may appear veiled in bright rooms. The 55-inch model is priced at 1300 euros. The TCL 65C89K offers a 65-inch panel with an HDR peak brightness of 3280 cd/m² and a delta E of 1.6 in HDR. It supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+ and has a 144 Hz panel with two HDMI 2.1 inputs for gaming. While its HVA panel and Mini-LED backlighting limit halos around bright objects, OLED still has the advantage in dark scenes. Reflections are more visible than on the Samsung S95F. The 65-inch model is priced at 900 euros. Additional models include the TCL 75C89K, LG 55G6, Samsung 65S95F, Sony 65 Bravia 9 II, and others with varying prices.
