Norway and Portugal are set to compete in a Nations League 2026/27 match on Sunday, September 27, with the kickoff scheduled for 2:45 p.m. ET / 7:45 p.m. BST. The game is expected to draw significant attention due to the presence of high-profile players such as Erling Haaland of Norway and Cristiano Ronaldo of Portugal, both of whom are among the most recognizable names in international football. Viewers in Portugal can watch the match for free on RTP 1, while Norwegian audiences can tune in on TV 2 Play. In the United States, FuboTV is broadcasting the game and is offering a free five-day trial for new users. Those outside their home country may consider using a virtual private network (VPN) to access their preferred streaming services. In the UK, the match is available on Prime Video for a pay-per-view fee of £2.49. In Canada, FuboTV and DAZN are the main platforms, with DAZN’s soccer package priced at CA$24.99 per month. In Australia, beIN Sports is broadcasting the match, with subscription options available. Norway’s team, led by Erling Haaland, began their Nations League campaign with a 3-2 victory over Denmark. Haaland has been in impressive form, scoring nine goals in eight games for both club and country. Norway’s strategy focuses on the creative play of Martin Odegaard and the direct approach of Antonio Nusa. Meanwhile, Portugal, under new coach Jorge Jesus, opened their campaign with a 1-0 win against Wales. Joao Felix scored the winning goal, and despite missing two scoring opportunities, Cristiano Ronaldo remains a pivotal player. Portugal’s attacking lineup also features Bernardo Silva and Bruno Fernandes, providing multiple options in front of goal. Historically, Portugal holds a strong advantage in head-to-head encounters with Norway, having secured eight wins compared to Norway’s single victory in 2010. The most recent meeting between the two teams was a 3-0 win for Portugal in a 2016 friendly match. This upcoming clash will be a significant test for both teams as they aim to make their mark in the Nations League.
