Amazon Luna, previously known as Prime Gaming, has announced the lineup of free games available for October 2026, with a Halloween-themed focus. The service will offer 10 games throughout the month, releasing two titles each week. These games will be available to claim every Thursday evening, starting with Doom and Five Nights at Freddy's: Into the Pit, which are already accessible to users. The Halloween theme is reflected in the selection of games, many of which are horror or suspense-themed, aiming to create an eerie and spooky atmosphere for users. Doom, the 2016 reboot of the classic first-person shooter franchise, is described as an intense experience that "takes players straight to hell." It has been available on the Epic Games Store and GOG platforms for a week already. Another title, Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansong, is the latest installment in the Vampire: The Masquerade series, offering a narrative-driven experience centered around supernatural intrigue and conflict. Throughout October 2026, additional games will be released on specific dates. On October 1st, users can claim Five Nights at Freddy's: Into the Pit and Doom. On October 8th, Conarium and WarBreeds will be available. By October 15th, Caravan SandWitch and Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansong will join the list. On October 22nd, Ad Infinitum and Time Travel: Escape Room Game will be released, followed by Kiborg and Trash Goblin on October 29th. To access the free games, users need an Amazon Prime subscription and accounts on the partner platforms, including GOG, the Epic Games Store, and Legacy Games. The process involves logging into an Amazon Prime account on Amazon Luna, navigating to the Luna Games section, selecting the desired games, and clicking "Claim." Each game will then be added to the user's library on the respective platform, either directly or by redirecting the user to a page where they can validate the code.
