Hungary and Ukraine will face each other in a Nations League match scheduled for 2:45 PM ET (7:45 PM BST) on Friday, September 25. The Nations League is an international football competition involving national teams from across Europe, organized to provide more meaningful matches than traditional friendly games. This match will be broadcast for free on M4 Sport in Hungary and L'Equipe Live Foot in France. In the United States, the game will be shown exclusively on Fubo, which requires a Pro plan subscription. In the UK, Prime Video will air the match on a pay-per-view basis for £2.49. In Canada, DAZN will show the game with subscriptions starting at $24.99 per month, while in Australia, beIN Sports will broadcast it with subscriptions starting at $16.99/month, offering a 7-day free trial. Viewers traveling abroad can use a virtual private network (VPN) to access their usual streaming service as if they were in their home country. A recommended option is NordVPN, which currently offers up to 75% off and three extra months free. This allows fans to watch the match on their preferred platform, regardless of their location. Hungary and Ukraine have not faced each other in a competitive match since 1992, when Hungary won both encounters. This will be their first meeting since then. Hungary is aiming to return to the top tier of the Nations League after being relegated from League A in the previous season. Meanwhile, Ukraine is striving to secure the top spot in their group, which includes Georgia and Northern Ireland. Ukraine narrowly missed promotion in the 2024/25 season after losing a promotion/relegation play-off to Belgium. Ukraine has a new manager, Andrea Maldera, who is the country’s first-ever foreign manager, and he will face Hungary’s long-serving coach, Marco Rossi, who has been in charge for eight years. Ukraine will be without injured forward Artem Dovbyk, but they have selected Roman Yaremchuk, Andriy Yarmolenko, and Vitaliy Mykolenko. Hungary will be led by captain Dominik Szoboszlai, and the team includes five players who have not yet made their international debut.
