As he was getting into his car, a man noticed a stray dog wandering around the parking lot in search of food. It was raining heavily at that time, and the dog was completely soaked. The man, referred to as Sam, was very moved. He opened the car door and called the dog to give it food. The dog then rushed toward Sam, but it did something that surprised the young man—instead of eating the meal that Sam was offering, the dog preferred to get into the car. Sam had absolutely not expected the dog to do that. He did not have the heart to make it go back out into the rain. Once safely inside the car, the dog started to devour its meal. It was clearly very hungry and had been on the streets for some time. Sam took the dog to a veterinarian to check if it had a family and if it was well. The health tests revealed that the dog was in good health, but it had no owner. Sam brought it home and it quickly bonded with this adorable, gentle, and calm companion. He named the dog Gus. Good news: he officially adopted Gus. Together, they are going on great adventures: hikes, days at the beach, swimming near rivers and waterfalls, of course without forgetting a ton of cuddles. Sam’s life has changed in a positive way since Gus came into it, and the bond between them continues to grow stronger each day.
