The MeTooMedia Awards 2026 have revealed the nominees for this year's event, which will recognize works in journalism, creative arts, and media that address issues of sexual and gender-based violence. The awards will take place on November 6, 2026, at 7:30 PM at the Théâtre de la Concorde in Paris. The event is organized by the MeTooMedia and Femmes Journalistes de Sport associations, which aim to highlight media and cultural productions that tackle these important social issues. In the "Best Literary Work" category, five books have been nominated. These include De l'autre côté de l'inceste by Sarah Boucault, published by La Déferlante éditions; La Jeune Fille et la mort by Negar Haeri, published by Seuil; Le Viol ordinaire: Révéler un crime de l'intimité by Alexane Guérin, published by Seuil; Parler ou se taire. Ce qu'il en coûte de s'attaquer à des hommes puissants by Florence Porcel, published by Hugo Doc; and Pour ne pas disparaître by Gabriella Papadakis, published by Robert Laffont. The jury for this category is chaired by Laure Adler, a well-known journalist and media figure. The jury for the 2026 edition includes notable names such as Bruno Solo, Tristan Lopin, Princess Erika, Mélissa Amneris, Maryse Éwanjé-Épée, Emmanuelle Anizon, Marie Portolano, Axelle Jah Njiké, and Chloé Thibaud, who is responsible for selecting the winner of the Best Literary Creation award. In the first edition of the awards, held in 2025, the Best Literary Work award was given to Anouk Grinberg for her book Respect, published by Julliard. Other categories at the awards include recognition for a general press article, a sports press article, a radio or television documentary, a cinematic work, a stage work, a musical work, a podcast, and content creation. In addition to the category-specific awards, a Jury Prize will also be presented to a standout entry. The event aims to celebrate and encourage media and creative works that contribute to the conversation around sexual and gender-based violence.
