Picard, a major player in the frozen food industry and the top French brand in 2026, has partnered with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products (WBDGCP) to create a product line inspired by the beloved Harry Potter series. The collaboration was announced in a press release on Monday, September 7, and includes a variety of items tied to the magical world of Hogwarts. The collection is divided into three parts: seven Halloween-themed products launching on October 23, nine Christmas recipes available starting November 16, and a galette des rois (a traditional French pastry eaten during Epiphany) for the holiday season. Among the products are frozen cakes shaped like the Hogwarts Express and a potions manual, along with magical-themed desserts like enchanted chocolate frogs and magical cauldron treats. The collection also features practical items like a tote bag, a cooler, and a kraft bag adorned with imagery from the Harry Potter saga. This collaboration marks a historic first for Picard, which spent 18 months developing the line. The press release highlights the immense popularity of the Harry Potter franchise, which has sold over 600 million books worldwide and generated more than $7.7 billion in box office revenue from its eight films. The Harry Potter brand continues to evolve, with new content like Harry Potter and the Cursed Child now available on HBO Max for the holiday season. Cécile Guillou, president and CEO of Picard, emphasized that the collaboration reflects the company’s goal of providing customers with more creative and memorable culinary experiences. By combining the magic of Harry Potter with its frozen food expertise, Picard aims to bring a touch of enchantment to everyday meals.
