Ranking success for The Terminal List

The second season of The Terminal List has climbed to the second position in Prime Video's most-watched series ranking in France, overtaking Neagley, a spin-off of Reacher, which now holds the fourth spot.

Return after a long hiatus

The action series, starring Chris Pratt as James Reece, a former Navy SEAL, returned after a four-year break. The second season is based on the novel In the Line of Fire by Jack Carr and follows Reece as he tries to rebuild his life after the events of the first season, only to be pulled back into a dangerous international espionage case involving a new Russian threat.

Chris Pratt discusses the wait

Chris Pratt, who reprised his role since October 21, spoke about the long gap between seasons during an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. He noted that four years had passed since the first season, during which a prequel series, The Terminal List: Dark Wolf, was produced, focusing on the past of Ben Edwards, played by Taylor Kitsch.

Filming locations add to the thriller feel

Pratt mentioned that filming for the new season took place in multiple locations, including South Africa, Marrakech, Tangier, London, and Greece. He described these settings as contributing to the series' appearance as a large-scale espionage thriller.

Neagley struggles to hold the top spot

Neagley, which launched on September 16, attracted 40 million viewers in thirteen days, according to Amazon, and has already received an order for a second season. However, The Terminal List has now surpassed it in rankings.

Next challenge: Carrie

The next challenge for The Terminal List will be to surpass Carrie, the new adaptation of Stephen King's novel directed by Mike Flanagan. Carrie, available since October 7, is a global hit, starring Summer H. Howell, and currently leads the rankings.
