The Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller is a new gaming accessory designed to improve the experience for players of the Nintendo Switch 2 console. It features enhanced vibration feedback through HD Rumble 2 technology, which delivers more detailed and nuanced vibrations that match on-screen actions. The controller also includes customizable buttons, allowing players to assign specific commands to the GL and GR buttons located on the back of the device. This customization helps tailor the control scheme to individual preferences and can also support accessibility features for players with different needs. The controller has a traditional layout with two analog sticks, a directional pad, and standard buttons. It also includes motion detection capabilities, a built-in amiibo function for reading compatible figures and cards without needing an external reader, and a capture button for taking screenshots of games. One of the new features in this controller is the inclusion of a C button, which provides direct access to the GameChat menu, enabling communication features on the console as long as the user has a Nintendo Switch Online subscription. The Nintendo Switch 2 is designed to be versatile, allowing play in portable, table, or TV modes, and can support one or two players. The Pro Controller is part of this design, offering a detachable option that complements the console’s flexibility. The controller includes a 3.5 mm audio jack for connecting wired headsets and supports wireless headsets through Bluetooth, allowing players to move freely without being near the console. It is charged via a USB-C port, and the charging cable is included with the controller. Currently, the Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller is available on AliExpress for 78.46 euros, which is a discount from its original price of 84.64 euros. It has an average rating of 4.9 out of 5 from buyers. It is important to note that this controller is specifically designed for the Nintendo Switch 2 and is not compatible with the original Nintendo Switch models. The controller offers approximately 40 hours of battery life, making it suitable for extended gaming sessions.
