Supermodel Eva Herzegova led a tribute to the late Giorgio Armani, who passed away in September of last year. Many of the designer outfits worn at the event were recognizable, as they had been previously seen on models, celebrities, and athletes. These included Moncler puffer jackets, Prada’s banana-print button-down shirts, a safety pin-cinched Versace evening gown, a Pucci print, and a Bottega Veneta fiberglass coat. Alicia Keys closed the evening with a performance in a beaded dress featuring a regal train, under the Galleria's glass dome. Roberto Bolle presented her with a rose as a gesture of appreciation. This edition of Vogue World was the last of four major fashion capitals to host the event, which began in New York in 2022, followed by editions in London, Paris, and Los Angeles. The Milan event raised funds for a cultural center aimed at fostering talent in fashion, music, and the arts at the Quarto Oggiaro Library in northwestern Milan. Italy is a key player in the global luxury market, producing about half of the world’s luxury apparel, footwear, and leather goods.
