Antoine eliminated from Star Academy 2026
On Saturday, October 31, Antoine was eliminated from Star Academy 2026 during the fourth prime of the 14th edition. This follows the earlier departures of Khalil and Elija in the previous week, marking a significant shift in the competition's dynamics.Contestants on the bench
Antoine was among three contestants on the bench of nominees, facing off against Maud and Ydriss. He performed the song Évidemment by France Gall, a classic French pop track, to defend his place in the competition.Public and student votes
The public voted to support Maud, which meant the decision to eliminate either Ydriss or Antoine fell to the other students. The students held a closely contested vote, ultimately deciding to save Ydriss, which led to Antoine's elimination as expected.Debate over the decision
The article raises questions about whether Antoine's elimination was justified. It asks if Antoine, who moved the public with his emotional performance of the France Gall classic, deserved to continue in the competition or if Ydriss should have been the one to leave instead.
