Orelsan performs new song at Bordeaux concert

During a concert at the Arkéa Arena in Bordeaux on Tuesday, October 27, Orelsan teased a new unreleased song titled XXX as part of his tour for his 2025 album La Fuite en avant. The track criticizes CNews and the far right, with Orelsan rapping, "I have the far-right people on my back because I want them to choke, I don't want the far-right people to listen to me. Basically, I'm the opposite of CNews."

Song targets CNews and far-right figures

The song is set to be released on streaming platforms on Thursday at midnight. It includes direct criticism of CNews, a French news channel often associated with right-wing perspectives, and expresses Orelsan's opposition to far-right ideologies.

Orelsan has addressed political issues before

This is not the first time Orelsan has addressed political issues in his music. In June of last year, he denounced the Canon French banquet in Caen, an event linked to far-right figures, in a Boss Cypher video on YouTube.

Previous work commented on far-right rise

Earlier, on his track L'odeur de l'essence from the Civilisation album, released prior to the 2022 presidential elections, he commented on the rise of the far right in a France "paralyzed by fear of foreigners."

Orelsan will continue his XXL tour, which began in January 2026, across France. He is scheduled to perform in Caen at the beginning of November and in Paris in December for 15 dates at the Accor Arena, marking a record for the venue.
