The **JBL Live 770NC**, a noise-canceling headset launched in 2023, is currently on sale at Darty for 99.99 euros, a 37 percent discount from its lowest price of 159.99 euros in the last 30 days. This model is designed for long-term use, offering 50 hours of battery life with noise cancellation active and 65 hours without it. It features adaptive noise cancellation, which adjusts to different environments, and a Smart Ambient mode that lets users hear external sounds like announcements or conversations without taking off the headset. The Bluetooth 5.3 multipoint technology allows the headset to connect to two devices at once, making it easier to switch between a smartphone and a laptop during calls or other tasks. The **JBL Live 770NC** also includes a 10-band equalizer through the JBL app, allowing users to customize their audio experience. The headset weighs 253 grams and can be folded for travel. It can be used in wired mode with the included cable when the battery is low. According to LeDénicheur, a price comparison site, no cheaper alternatives were found as of October 9. This model is primarily targeted at users who want to reduce noise during travel without spending on high-end models. However, the **JBL Live 770NC** has some drawbacks. A Swedish review site, M3, noted that its noise isolation is good but not as effective as the Sony WH-1000XM5. The physical buttons on the headset are described as small and not very user-friendly. Que Choisir, a consumer information site, also reported that no spare parts, such as a battery or ear cushions, are available for purchase. The model is not ideal for long-distance travelers or for use during sports activities. Since spring, JBL has been offering a newer model, the **JBL Live 780NC**, which has improved noise cancellation and up to 80 hours of battery life without ANC. The **JBL Live 770NC**, priced at 99.99 euros, offers the same 50 hours of battery life with ANC but at a much lower price than the **JBL Live 780NC**'s initial release price of 179.99 euros. Other affordable options in the market include the Nothing Headphone (a) and the CMF Headphone Pro. The **JBL Live 770NC** stands out for its battery life and multipoint connectivity, making it a sensible choice for those seeking a durable noise-canceling headset under 100 euros. However, for users who prioritize superior noise isolation, higher-end models or the newer **JBL Live 780NC** may be more suitable. The black version of the **JBL Live 770NC** has been available at Darty since at least September 30.
