Season 2 preview released

The trailer for season 2 of Black Doves, released by Netflix, shows Keira Knightley returning as an undercover spy at the center of the British government. As her husband Wallace (Andrew Buchan) prepares to become Prime Minister, she continues to pass government secrets to the clandestine organization of Black Doves.

New threats and alliances

However, this strategic position could also become her greatest danger. The trouble begins when Mrs. Reed (Sarah Lancashire), Helen's superior, finds herself involved in a conspiracy. Deprived of her ally within the organization, the spy once again teams up with her best friend Sam Young (Ben Whishaw), a hitman now entangled in legal problems.

New characters join the cast

After the bloody events of the first season, the duo must trace a case that threatens the Black Doves. This second season also welcomes several new faces. Ambika Mod (One Day) plays Laila, an anarchic Black Doves agent. Neve Campbell (Scream) plays Cecile Mason, an American defense representative, while Sam Riley portrays Patrick, an emissary of a mysterious organization that offers Sam an exit.
