Mikel Arteta has confirmed that there are no new injury concerns for Arsenal as they prepare to face Sunderland this weekend, despite Ben White limping off during their midweek Champions League match against Napoli. The Gunners have started the new Premier League season strongly, winning their first three league matches and also securing a victory in their opening Champions League game against Napoli. Their defense has been solid, conceding only one goal in those four matches, even without key defenders William Saliba and Jurrien Timber. Ben White has been playing the full 90 minutes in every league game this season, filling in for Timber, who has not started a match since March due to a groin injury that required surgery over the summer. Timber has since returned to first-team training and is nearing a return to action. Arteta mentioned that Timber is currently training with the squad and may be available for the upcoming games. During the Napoli match, White appeared to be in discomfort late in the second half and was substituted after 82 minutes by Martin Zubimendi. However, Arteta confirmed that White is "fine" and not facing any injury issues ahead of the Sunderland game. William Saliba is recovering from a back injury, and Cristhian Mosquera has stepped in to play alongside Gabriel Magalhaes in his absence. Mosquera was forced off with a minor injury during the match against Aston Villa but is in contention to return for the game against Sunderland or the midweek fixture against Ipswich. Ezri Konsa has made a strong impression in the center of defense during Arsenal's recent matches against Chelsea and Napoli. Arteta praised Konsa for his leadership and positive attitude since joining the club for £51 million, highlighting his growing influence on the team.
