Multiple rape allegations against Alexandre K.

Several women have accused Alexandre K. of rape in a trial that has drawn significant attention. Virginie Manzi, representing two of the six women, stated that the accounts collected during the investigation are consistent, though not identical.

Details of the alleged abuse

The women, who range in age from 16 to 24 at the time of the alleged incidents, describe experiences involving forced fellations, anal penetrations, strangulations, beatings, and cigarette burns. Some accounts mention that the accused wanted them to refer to him as "master."

Origins of the case

The case began in the summer of 2023 when a 21-year-old woman met Alexandre K. on Meetic and later went to his home in Castelnau-le-Lez. She filed a complaint after describing violent acts, which were corroborated by medical examinations revealing injuries and bruises.

Other alleged victims

Investigators then traced Alexandre K.'s past relationships and found that other women had similar allegations, including one from Nantes in 2016, another from Neuilly-sur-Seine in 2020, and others in Besançon, Marseillan, and elsewhere in the Hérault between 2022 and 2023.

Defense arguments

Carlo Alberto Brusa, the new lawyer for Alexandre K., argues that the sexual practices were discussed and accepted, and that some women may have later regretted or felt shame about them. He maintains that any claim of refusal during the act must be proven.

Victims' concerns

The women involved are reportedly anxious about the trial, fearing how their statements and behavior will be examined in court. Virginie Manzi described the facts as "particularly sordid," emphasizing the recurring elements of violence, domination, and continued acts despite the women's objections.
