New flight route launched

Since this weekend, the Hungarian airline Wizz Air has introduced a direct flight between Lyon-Saint-Exupéry Airport in France and Warsaw, Poland. The flight duration is just over two hours, making travel between the two cities more convenient for passengers.

Flight schedule details

From Lyon, Wizz Air operates flights on Mondays, Fridays, and Sundays. In the reverse direction, flights from Warsaw to Lyon are available on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. This schedule provides multiple options for travelers depending on their travel needs.

Ticket pricing information

One-way tickets for the direct flight range from 35.99 to 45.99 euros. The lowest prices are typically available at the beginning of the week, offering potential savings for passengers who can adjust their travel dates accordingly.

Warsaw becomes sixth destination

With this new route, Warsaw becomes the sixth destination served by Wizz Air from Lyon. The airline continues to expand its network, offering more choices for travelers seeking affordable air travel options in Europe.

Competition with other carriers

While Wizz Air now provides a direct link, other airlines such as LOT Polish Airlines already offer direct flights between Lyon and Warsaw, albeit at higher prices. Airlines like Lufthansa, Brussels Airlines, and KLM also connect the two cities but with stopovers in Munich, Brussels, and Amsterdam respectively.
