Jonathan Forbes, who has appeared in popular shows like Catastrophe and The Rainmaker, will join the cast as John Senior, the father of character Johnny Kavanagh. Forbes brings a wealth of experience in both television and film, and his role is expected to add depth to the family dynamics in the series. Cobhan O'Brien and Harvey Moloney are also joining the cast. O'Brien previously appeared in Foundation, a science fiction series based on Isaac Asimov’s novels, while Moloney has been seen in Krimi, a crime drama set in Ireland. Tristan Heanue, known for his role in Clean Sweep, a crime drama centered around a group of detectives, will play Tony Molloy, the father of Aoife Molloy. Heanue’s experience in character-driven storytelling is expected to contribute significantly to the emotional core of the series. Lewis Brophy, another new addition, will be joining the cast, though his specific role has not yet been disclosed. The continued expansion of the cast highlights the growing interest in The Boys of Tommen, which is set to explore themes of family, loyalty, and conflict. With its mix of familiar and emerging talent, the series is poised to attract a wide audience upon its release.
