This month, Ugreen, a company specializing in charging solutions, introduced the MagFlow Pro 2-en-1, a wireless charger designed for Apple devices like iPhones and AirPods. The charger includes two separate charging zones and features a built-in fan to help manage heat, which can impact battery performance and longevity. Priced at less than 80 euros, it's currently available for 71.99 euros on Amazon, down from its original 89.99 euros. The device supports recent iPhone models with MagSafe and AirPods cases, offering a maximum charging power of 25 watts. The MagFlow Pro 2-en-1 is tailored for iPhones that support MagSafe and AirPods, with two distinct surfaces—one for Qi2 wireless charging and another specifically for Apple’s wireless earbuds. The iPhone charging area includes built-in magnets to keep the phone in place, improving efficiency during charging. Users can position their iPhone either vertically or horizontally. To help manage heat, the charger uses a combination of a TEC (Thermoelectric Cooling) module, a fan, and a magnetic glass surface. It also displays the smartphone's temperature and the charging power for both the phone and AirPods. The charger includes alerts for low power and a visual temperature indicator. A fan control button allows users to manually turn the fan on or off, though it is not completely silent. The iPhone charging surface can be tilted up to 90 degrees for added convenience. The MagFlow Pro 2-en-1 is compatible with iPhones starting from the iPhone 12 that support MagSafe and AirPods. While Ugreen recommends using it only with Apple devices, it may work with certain Google Pixel models due to the magnetic attachment. However, it only accepts MagSafe cases for iPhones. The charger supports Qi2 wireless charging up to 25 watts, but this maximum power is only available with the iPhone 16 or newer models running iOS 18 or later. Older models, from the iPhone 12 to the iPhone 15, are limited to 15 watts. AirPods can be charged at a maximum of 5 watts. According to Ugreen, an iPhone 17 Pro Max can reach 50% battery in 30 minutes when using this charger. To achieve the 25-watt charging speed, a 45-watt or higher Power Delivery charger is required.
