Reptiliades event in Nîmes draws international crowds to explore exotic animals and learn about reptiles.
Event draws early crowds
This Saturday morning, starting at 8 o'clock, visitors were already queuing in front of the Nîmes Exhibition Park, although the doors of the Reptiliades event would not open until 10 o'clock. Attendance up compared to last year
The event manager confirmed an increase in attendance compared to the previous year. In the aisles, visitors came from different backgrounds, and various languages were heard, indicating that the fair attracts an international audience composed both of enthusiasts and people who had come to discover this universe. Diverse range of animals on display
Various animals were present, including snakes, frogs, fish, lizards, and spiders. Visitors were able to observe numerous species throughout the stands. A butterfly farm was also present with giant species. Interactive experiences for visitors
Some exhibitors even offered visitors the opportunity to touch certain animals, providing a way to discover them differently and sometimes overcome apprehensions. For both adults and children, the Reptiliades allowed approaching species that one does not necessarily have the opportunity to see on a daily basis. Event continues through Sunday
It was also the ideal time to ask questions and learn more about the world of reptiles. The Reptiliades continue this Sunday, October 18, at the Nîmes Exhibition Park, from 10 o'clock to 6 o'clock.
