Night construction period begins

Starting Monday, October 19, a one-month night construction period will close a departmental road and an autoroute in Val-d'Oise. The A16 autoroute will be closed between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m., excluding weekends, for renovation work between the A16 interchange with the RN184 and exit number 11 in L'Isle-Adam. The RD922 will also be closed during this time.

Renovation work details

The project involves renovating 2 kilometers of road and replacing expansion joints on two bridges to adapt to temperature changes and improve road conditions. The work, managed by Sanef, aims to ensure safety on the route and will be carried out in several phases, potentially increasing travel time for motorists.

Initial closure phase

From October 19 to 22, the A16 will be closed from Boulogne-sur-Mer towards Paris. Motorists will need to use exit number 12 in Chambly (Oise) as an alternative. Access to the A16 towards Paris, including from the RD301 and RD922, will also be closed at the number 11 interchange in L'Isle-Adam Nord. Drivers wishing to return to the autoroute heading towards Paris will have to use the A16/RD922 interchange.

Extended closure and alternate routes

From October 22 to November 6, access to the A16 towards Paris from the RD301 will also be closed at exit number 11 in L'Isle-Adam Nord, with the A16/RN104 interchange as an alternative. Between November 2 and 20, the RD922 will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. between the two roundabouts connecting L'Isle-Adam and Mours. Motorists wishing to reach L'Isle-Adam will have to take the RD301 and make a U-turn in the industrial area of Persan before resuming the RD301 towards L'Isle-Adam. Drivers heading to Mours will take the A16 towards Paris, make a U-turn at the interchange with the RN184, and then resume the A16 towards Amiens (Somme) until exit number 11 in L'Isle-Adam Nord.
