Canal+ offers discounted subscription

Until November 2, Canal+ is offering a flash sale that brings its basic subscription under the 16 € threshold for two years. The CANAL+ offer at 15.99 € per month for 24 months, then 24.99 € per month, includes recent cinema and major championships, but it commits for two years and excludes Netflix and HBO Max.

Price reduction for new subscribers

During this flash sale, the CANAL+ subscription goes from 24.99 € to 15.99 € per month for the first 24 months, which represents 9 € monthly savings and 216 € over the commitment period. The flash sale CANAL+ offer at 15.99 € per month is reserved for new subscribers, who did not have a Canal+ subscription the previous month.

Content included in the offer

The CANAL+ subscription is 15.99 € per month for 24 months instead of 24.99 €, directly from Canal+, for new subscribers. Movies released in cinemas arrive on Canal+ six months after their cinema release. Several sports under one roof: The Wednesday match of the Champions League, Formula 1, MotoGP, the Premier League and Top 14 are included in the offer.

Flexibility in viewing

Live, replay, and two screens: Programs can be watched live or on replay, on two screens at the same time. A household can follow a Grand Prix in the living room while a series plays on a tablet. From the Sunday Grand Prix to the Saturday night film: The offer provides access to the Canal+ channels, Canal+ Box Office, Canal+ Grand Écran, Canal+ Sport 360, Canal+ Docs and Canal+ Kids, as well as the in-house series and documentaries.

Convenience of replay

Replay is the real comfort: a missed live program can be watched later, at a time that suits you. The application works on the web, smartphones, tablets, PlayStation and Xbox consoles, smart TVs, and devices such as the Apple TV 4K or Fire TV, with offline playback.

Target audience and limitations

The ideal profile watches both sports and cinema, and prefers a single bill to three subscriptions. Fans of Top 14, Formula 1 or MotoGP find a regular appointment, and the year's films arrive without extra cost. The interest decreases if you want all of the Champions League: the offer mentions the Wednesday match, not the entire competition.

Comparison with other services

It is also unsuitable for those primarily seeking American series, since Netflix, HBO Max and Paramount+ are not included. This offer is the entry-level of Canal+: the catalogs of Netflix, HBO Max or Paramount+ require a higher-tier formula such as Canal+ Ciné Séries.

Advantages and drawbacks

Compared to streaming platforms alone, its advantage remains recent cinema, which is available much earlier than on other services. In return, we noted a higher price than the competition and relatively few exclusive productions, two points that the discount mitigates but does not eliminate.

End of the promotion

The flash sale ends on November 2: check the 15.99 € per month price and commitment conditions on the offer page before subscribing. At 15.99 € per month, this flash sale makes the Canal+ subscription more affordable, without removing recent cinema or announced sports.
