A24, a film production and distribution company known for its independent and arthouse films, has released a unique collectible item to celebrate its collaboration with British actor Robert Pattinson. The product is a set of six Russian nesting dolls, also known as matryoshkas, which are traditionally handcrafted and painted. These dolls are made entirely from linden wood, a type of softwood commonly used in carving. The set, standing 14.6 cm tall, is a handcrafted tribute to Pattinson’s cinematic career, designed to reflect his evolution as an actor through his most memorable roles, starting from the most recent and moving backward in time. From largest to smallest, the dolls represent different characters Pattinson has played in various films. The outermost doll is Chris Hansen, the television investigative journalist from Primetime (2026), A24’s latest release. The second layer features Charlie Thompson, the character Pattinson played alongside Zendaya in The Drama (2026), a drama comedy directed by Kristoffer Borgli. The third doll is Ephraim Winslow / Thomas Howard, the neurotic lighthouse keeper from The Lighthouse (2019), Robert Eggers’ film co-starring Willem Dafoe. The fourth doll is Monte, the lost astronaut from High Life (2018), a space drama directed by Claire Denis. The fifth doll is Constantine "Connie" Nikas, the impulsive bank robber in Good Time (2017), an adrenaline-fueled thriller by the Safdie brothers. The smallest doll, hidden at the center, represents Reynolds "Rey" from The Rover (2014), the role that marked Pattinson’s entry into independent cinema with director David Michôd. Priced at $42, the nesting doll set is available at a discounted rate of $37.80 for members of the A24 club. The collectible has generated significant interest, with pre-orders selling out quickly on A24’s official website. As a result, potential buyers may need to wait or keep an eye out for possible restocks to acquire this unique tribute to Pattinson’s career. The item highlights the growing trend of combining film memorabilia with traditional craftsmanship, offering fans a tangible connection to their favorite actors and movies.
