Rockstar Games has announced the release of the Grand Theft Auto VI: The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection, a premium collector's box featuring exclusive merchandise but no actual game. Priced at 400 euros (around £349 or $399), the set will be available for purchase on November 19. The box includes eleven items inspired by the fictional state of Leonida, a setting that mirrors real-life Florida. A central character in the collection is Macca the Gator, a mascot from a fictional TV show, who appears in several of the items. The collection includes a Macca the Gator figurine with a hidden compartment, Oakley Frogskins sunglasses, a New Era cap, a Leonida Keys shoulder bag, a magnetic mirror, a cocktail spoon, a keychain shaped like a razor blade, a shot glass, pins in a metal box, stickers, and a double-sided poster. The box measures 48 x 33 x 30 cm and does not qualify for free shipping. The product was first revealed earlier in the week, with many fans initially thinking it was a new collector's edition that would include the game. However, Rockstar Games confirmed that the box does not contain a disc or a digital code for Grand Theft Auto VI, which must be purchased separately. The standard edition of GTA 6 is priced at 79.99 euros, while the Ultimate edition is available digitally for 99.99 euros. Rockstar previously sold collector's editions for Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption 2, both of which included the game. The collector’s edition of GTA V cost 130 euros and included the game. This new Vice City Collection adds to a growing list of merchandise, including DualSense controllers in the colors of GTA 6 and the official album on CD and vinyl. Pre-orders for the Vice City Collection are available exclusively at the Rockstar Store, with the company explicitly stating that GTA 6 is "sold separately." The merchandise was first noticed in data from the Rockstar Store, which listed 55 items, including the Vice City Collection. The listing mentioned the package was heavy and limited to one per person, which may have led fans to hope it was a real edition of the game. Rockstar officially confirmed the product later in the day, clarifying its contents.
