Positive opens marketing tools to AI agents

Positive is allowing AI agents to access its marketing tools through its Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers. The company is offering three of its products—Positive Surfer, Positive Iconosquare, and Positive Signitic—to AI agents without extra cost to customers.

MCP protocol standardizes AI integration

The Model Context Protocol (MCP), introduced by Anthropic in late 2024, creates a common framework for connecting language models to external tools and data sources. This allows publishers to expose their software through an MCP server without needing to build separate integrations for each assistant.

MCP adoption grows rapidly

The official development kits for the MCP protocol (SDKs), used to build servers and clients, have seen a dramatic increase in downloads. They rose from 97 million per month in December 2025 to nearly half a billion in July 2026, indicating widespread adoption.

AI agents streamline marketing workflows

SMEs often lack the resources to maintain connectors between their tools and AI models. By making its tools natively accessible to AI agents, Positive allows a single assistant to handle multiple stages of marketing and sales, reducing the need for manual intervention.

MCP servers cover varied marketing functions

The three available MCP servers handle different aspects of the marketing suite. Positive Surfer MCP offers SEO audits and keyword analysis, while Positive Iconosquare MCP handles social media scheduling and performance analysis. Positive Signitic MCP manages email signatures and banner campaigns, ensuring compliance and traceability.

Compatibility with multiple AI assistants

The MCP servers work with Positive’s in-house AI, Uma, as well as with third-party assistants like Claude, ChatGPT, and Copilot. This allows companies to choose their preferred AI assistant without restrictions.

Future expansion of the MCP suite

Positive User, the module focused on CRM and customer engagement, will join the MCP suite in the fourth quarter of 2026. However, dashboards will remain available for teams that prefer to use Positive’s interfaces directly.

CEO highlights shift in strategy

Paul de Fombelle, CEO of Positive, explains that the user interface is no longer the main differentiator. The company is moving toward making its products accessible where customers already work—within AI assistants like Claude, ChatGPT, and Uma.

End-to-end AI-driven marketing workflow

In a scenario outlined by Positive, a marketing manager can ask her AI assistant to analyze website visibility, extract content for social media, and schedule posts—all without manually copying data between tools. This is part of the "Full Loop" strategy, where visibility drives traffic, content feeds social media, and engagement improves customer data.

CTO describes architectural shift

Thomas Thelliez, CTO of Positive, describes the MCP as a fundamental change in architecture. It allows any AI assistant to manage the Full Loop end-to-end, turning a connected suite into a headless architecture where AI agents can operate seamlessly across tools.

Gradual opening with security in mind

Positive plans to gradually expand access to its tools, starting with data consultation and analysis on Positive User. Writing actions will be added later once security standards like OAuth authentication and permission management are fully implemented.

No new costs for existing customers

Current customers can connect their existing Positive products to AI workflows without changing contracts, licenses, or passwords. This makes it easier for them to integrate AI into their marketing processes without additional effort or expense.
