Companies can donate unused electronics for reuse, helping reduce waste and supporting a circular economy.
Companies invited to donate unused tech
Companies are being asked to donate their unused electrical and electronic equipment for free as part of a new initiative. The goal is to promote reuse and refurbishment by giving these items a second life instead of letting them go to waste.Types of equipment accepted
The initiative accepts a wide range of items, including computers, mobile phones, tablets, screens, cables, chargers, power strips, keyboards, and mice. These items will be handled by Saint-Vit Informatique, a company that specializes in refurbishing electronics for resale.Target area and open participation
The initiative mainly targets companies located in the Sybert territory, which includes areas like Grand Besançon Métropole and parts of the Doubs region. However, businesses outside this area can also participate, making the program accessible to a broader range of organizations.Collaboration and registration
The program is organized by the Saône-Doubs CCI, Sybert, Saint-Vit Informatique, and Ecosystem. It focuses on waste management and the circular economy, aiming to reduce electronic waste by prioritizing reuse. Companies interested in participating must register at www.saone-doubs.cci.fr.
