The XGIMI MoGo 2 Pro (New) is a Full HD mini projector now available for 299 euros on Amazon, a significant drop from its original recommended price of 449 euros. This updated model offers improved brightness, with 430 ISO lumens compared to 400 ISO lumens in the earlier version. It replaces Android TV with Google TV, which includes a built-in Netflix app, and is designed to be compact and lightweight, weighing just 1.1 kg. The projector can display a Full HD image as large as 120 inches, making it ideal for watching movies and series in a dimly lit room. Its performance is best suited for environments with low ambient light, such as studios, teenagers' or friends' rooms, or homes that occasionally want a large screen for entertainment. The XGIMI MoGo 2 Pro (New) comes with several useful features, including continuous autofocus, trapezoid correction, and automatic obstacle avoidance. These allow the projector to adjust the image shape when moved, ensuring a clear and properly aligned picture. It also operates quietly, at under 30 dB, and includes two 8 W speakers that support Dolby Audio for enhanced sound quality. However, the device does not have an integrated battery and must be connected to an outlet or an external 65 W USB-C battery to function. In comparison, the XGIMI MoGo 4 is a similar model that includes a 77 Wh battery and a 360-degree rotating stand, making it more suitable for outdoor or holiday use. However, it is heavier at 1.31 kg and costs 429 euros. The XGIMI MoGo 2 Pro (New) is better suited for indoor use near an electrical outlet. It features a multi-angle stand that can tilt up to 120 degrees, allowing it to project images onto the ceiling for a movie-watching experience while lying down. Additionally, it includes eye protection that reduces brightness when movement is detected in front of the lens, which is a helpful feature for households with young children. The XGIMI MoGo 2 Pro (New) has one HDMI input for connecting devices like a console or media player. However, it is not well-suited for brightly lit rooms or daytime use, as its image quickly loses contrast in such conditions. The projector is currently available at the discounted price of 299 euros during the March Flash Sales, offering a cost-effective option for those looking to enjoy a large screen experience in a controlled lighting environment.
