Mac mini M6 price drops in Europe

The Mac mini M6 has seen its price drop in Europe, with the model now starting at 890 euros on Amazon Italy, which is 150 euros less than Apple's official listed price. This reduction comes after accounting for taxes and shipping fees in France, making the final price more competitive for European buyers.

French users access Italian Amazon

Users with a French Amazon account can access Amazon Italy to purchase the Mac mini M6, bypassing the higher prices listed on their local Amazon site. This allows them to take advantage of the lower price while still receiving the product in France.

Price still above M4 launch cost

Despite the price drop, the Mac mini M6 is still significantly more expensive than the launch price of the earlier Mac mini M4 model, which was 699 euros two years ago. However, the M6's price is slowly approaching that of the older model.

Basic configuration details

The basic configuration of the Mac mini M6 includes 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, which are the minimum options available. These specifications may be sufficient for users with light data usage and less demanding applications.

M6 chip and connectivity upgrades

The Mac mini M6 features the M6 chip, which offers notable improvements over the M4, particularly in network connectivity. It includes Wi-Fi 7 and a default 2.5 Gb/s Ethernet connection, which are appreciated by users for their speed and reliability.

Testing results and price concerns

Testing of the Mac mini M6 and the M5 Pro has been described as successful, but the current price is still considered too high by some, even with the recent reduction.
