Dominic West and Sienna Miller are starring in WAR, a new legal drama series created by George Kay, known for his work on Lupin. The series is now available on HBO Max, beginning on October 2nd. Following Lupin and Hijack, Kay returns with a show that should appeal to fans of legal dramas and intense interpersonal conflicts. WAR, produced by HBO and Sky, explores the high-stakes world of two prestigious law firms in London. The first season, consisting of eight episodes, will debut on HBO Max in France on October 2, 2026, with a new episode released each week. At the center of the story is the highly publicized divorce of Morgan Henderson, a powerful technology magnate played by Dominic West, and Carla Duval, an internationally renowned actress portrayed by Sienna Miller. Two rival law firms, Cathcarts & Sons and Taylor & Byrne, will represent the couple's interests. However, the legal battle quickly reveals deeper issues that extend beyond the divorce. Themes of ambition, money, reputation, betrayal, and hidden secrets emerge both in court and in the private offices of London's elite. Alongside West and Miller, WAR features a strong supporting cast. Archie Renaux plays Jonathan "Johnny" Warren, a young and ambitious lawyer who gradually uncovers the harsh realities of the legal world. Phoebe Fox, James McArdle, Nina Sosanya, and Pip Torrens also appear in the series. However, WAR is not just a divorce story. It is designed as a legal anthology, meaning each season will focus on a different legal case. HBO and Sky have already ordered a second season, which is currently in production, and will feature Marisa Tomei, Kelly Macdonald, and David Harewood. For the first season, viewers can tune in to HBO Max starting October 2nd to witness this legal showdown, which promises to be both intense and compelling.
