New program debuts on Media

A new live program titled Faut qu’on en parle has begun airing on the Media network from Monday to Thursday at 6:30 PM. The show aims to present information in a different way, offering space for voices that are often overlooked and showcasing the work of the editorial team.

Focus on proposed legislation

The first episode will examine a proposed bill called « breakers-payers », which is currently being reviewed by the Senate. The bill would require people present at an event to pay for any damage that occurs, even if they were not directly responsible for causing it. It also allows for these payments to be taken from certain social benefits.

Revisiting a political controversy

The program will also revisit the fire at Limoges city hall, which became a point of contention after the LR mayor made accusations against the political group La France insoumise. Damien Maudet, an LFI deputy from Haute-Vienne, will appear to address these claims.

Examining recent protests

The show will also look at the events following the October 17 demonstrations. At that time, Sébastien Lecornu met with union representatives but did not include student organizations, who had played a major role in the protests. The unions expressed disappointment with the meeting and continue to support a planned strike on November 5.

Assessing the strike strategy

Julie Ferrua, co-general delegate of Solidaires, will join the discussion to evaluate whether the planned strike can help the unions achieve their goals. The program will explore the potential impact of this strategy on the ongoing negotiations.
