European campaign promotes organic products
A European campaign to promote organic products and their label, the Eurofeuille, was presented at the Sial international agro-food fair in Paris Nord Villepinte until October 21. The campaign, "European Organic: Taste, Savor, Share," is co-financed by the European Union and aims to increase the consumption of European organic products and promote the Eurofeuille label.Campaign focuses on France and the Netherlands
The Polish Chamber of Organic Food, mandated to carry out the campaign in France, chose the Sial Paris event to conduct its mission. The campaign, which has been conducted in France and the Netherlands for three years, also seeks to strengthen cooperation between European organic producers and distributors.Growing organic market in France and the EU
In France, sales of organic products reached 12.6 billion euros in 2025, an increase of 3.6% (figures from Agence Bio/AND International). Organic farming covers 18.1 million hectares, or 11.1% of the agricultural area of the Union, and has 438,033 farms.Consumer awareness and trust in Eurofeuille
According to a survey by Agence Bio/Obsoco, 66% of the French claim they know what the Eurofeuille represents, compared to 37% in 2015. And 81% of those who know it trust it. However, price and doubt are the two main barriers to purchasing organic products.Eurofeuille standards ensure quality
The European promotional campaign recalls that the Eurofeuille is based on a single set of requirements throughout the European Union and regardless of the country of production within the Union. These include no pesticides or synthetic chemical fertilizers, no genetically modified organisms, and strict regulations on animal welfare and product certification.
