Student march reaches Indjija

A group of 1500 students and supporters arrived in Indjija on Tuesday evening after walking over 40 kilometers from Novi Sad, starting at 7 AM. The march is part of a larger movement that plans to gather in Belgrade’s Slavija Square on Thursday.

Goulash and solidarity in Indjija

Local activists began preparing large pots of goulash and setting up tables with food since the afternoon. The crowd grew steadily, and neighbors greeted each other as the event unfolded in the town center.

Young voter voices concerns

Luna, an 18-year-old high school student, is running a stand for List number 3, the students’ list, which currently leads in voting intentions with 44.5%. She has attended every rally since the collapse of a concrete canopy at Novi Sad station in November 2024, an event that deeply affected her family.

Retired supporter expresses hope and fear

Nenad, a retired man, stirred his goulash while expressing confidence in the movement’s success. He warned, however, of potential provocations by supporters of the current regime, fearing they might try to disrupt the vote by creating incidents at polling stations.

Community honors the marchers

The route to Indjija’s central gathering spot is a major traffic artery. For hours, cars and heavy trucks honked to welcome the students, showing widespread public support for their cause.
