Mosaïque en Cèze, a community association in Bagnols-sur-Cèze, faces financial challenges but continues to offer free and affordable activities for families during the autumn holidays.
Mosaïque en Cèze presents its activities
On Thursday, October 15, employees and volunteers of Mosaïque en Cèze presented their association and the events of the autumn holidays at the Vigan-Braquet community center. The association, which has been active since 1992, now manages two community centers, Vigan-Braquet and Les Passerelles sur Cèze, with 14 employees and more than 50 volunteers. Funding challenges and community support
Between 500 and 600 families are affiliated with it. Funded in part by the family allowance fund (CAF), Mosaïque en Cèze must deal with the cancellation of its annual municipal subsidy of 190,000 euros, voted on June 25, 2026, by the RN majority in Bagnols-sur-Cèze. Open access and community engagement
At Vigan-Braquet, Mondays and Thursdays mornings are open to all without charge. It is enough to arrive to settle in, chat or gather information, without prior registration or membership. Only participation in regular workshops requires membership, associated with a financial contribution calculated according to each person's income. Diverse programs and social goals
Sewing workshops, residents' cafes, French lessons, parenting support, projects led by young people: the range of encounters is wide. The objective shared by the team remains the same: to break isolation and encourage the involvement of everyone in local life. Residents are also invited to submit their ideas, participate in the organization or commit as volunteers. Autumn holiday events for families
The autumn holidays are set to be full with many targeted events for the whole family. The celebrations will begin on Tuesday, October 20, at L’Exutoire, where fathers and stepfathers are invited to spend a moment with their children from 7 years old around a laser game session and a buzzer course. Workshops and activities for young children
On Friday, October 23, it will be the turn of the youngest (1-5 years) to let their creativity speak during a mask-making workshop organized at the Maison des parents. The following week, on Wednesday, October 28, families and their children from 5 years old will go on a discovery visit to the Green Fabrik at La Moba. Family-friendly movement and dance sessions
Finally, on Thursday, October 29, a session of carried dance will offer parents an opportunity to share a moment of movement with their baby. Registrations for the workshops on October 20, 23, 28 and 29 require prior registration. The outings at L’Exutoire and La Moba are free, while the mask-making and carried dance workshops are offered at a price of 2 euros per child. Contact details for participation
