The eighth volume of the Prestige edition of Berserk will be released on February 17, 2027, by the French publisher Glénat. Priced at 27.90 €, this edition continues the format used in earlier Prestige volumes, which combine two standard editions into one large, hardcover volume. This edition includes a revised and expanded translation, along with previously unpublished color pages in France. The Prestige edition features Kentaro Miura's manga in a large format (18.9 × 26.6 cm), with a rigid cover and colored spines. Volume 8 corresponds to volumes 15 and 16 of the standard edition. The price has risen over time: volumes 1 to 6 of the Prestige edition cost 24.90 €, and the price increased to 27.90 € starting with volume 7. This volume 8 arrives three months after volume 7 (volumes 13 and 14 of the standard edition), which was also available for pre-order and was scheduled for November 18, 2026. For collectors who wish to complete this new edition, volume 8 is already available for pre-order. Following the events of the Golden Age and the horrifying Eclipse, Guts has left behind his life as a mercenary and taken on the title of "black warrior."
