Film premiere in Toulouse

Baptiste Deturche will present his new film, Louve, une vie dans les Alpes, in a premiere next week in Haute Garonne. The film will screen in Toulouse on Thursday, October 29 at 7 p.m. at Cinema Véo Cartoucherie Bagnères-de-Luchon, and on Friday, October 30 at 8 p.m. at Cinema Le Rex.

Unique nature documentary

Louve, une vie dans les Alpes is described as the first French film, 100% animal, filmed in France, without the use of photographic traps. This approach emphasizes the film’s focus on capturing real, unaltered animal behavior.

Focus on a female wolf

The film follows the life of a female wolf in a valley of the Hautes-Alpes, where the wild thrives and the wolf has been returning for several decades. This region is known for its natural beauty and the presence of wildlife, including wolves.

Challenging perceptions

The life of these canids remains difficult and is the subject of many prejudices. Through their ethical and sensitive images, directors Corentin Esmieu and Baptiste Deturche aim to show the wolf in its purest intimacy at the heart of the wild.

Film release date

Louve, une vie dans les Alpes will be released in cinemas on November 4, following its premiere events in Toulouse.
