James Bond film collection on Prime Video
The James Bond film collection, created by Ian Fleming, is now available on Amazon Prime Video with one exception. The subscription includes 24 out of the 25 official films, offering access to the foundations carried by Sean Connery (Dr. No, Goldfinger), the kitschy and spectacular excesses of the Roger Moore era (The Spy Who Loved Me, Moonraker), the hard edges of Timothy Dalton (Licence to Kill), and the explosive action of Pierce Brosnan (GoldenEye).Daniel Craig's final film excluded
No Time to Die, the 25th official film and the last one starring Daniel Craig in the role, is the only exception. In France, the film is not currently included in the Prime Video subscription, although it is in the United States. To discover this emotional conclusion, users must rent it, for example on Prime Video, Canal VOD or Apple TV (3.99 euros for a rental in HD or 4K, 11.99 euros for purchase).Unofficial Bond films available
The Prime Video catalog also offers two unofficial films, shot outside the Eon production, for which MGM has held the rights since the end of the 1990s. The first is Casino Royale (1967), a psychedelic, big-budget mess featuring David Niven, Peter Sellers, and Orson Welles.Dissenting Bond film included
The second, Never Say Never Again (1983), is the famous dissident film directed by Irvin Kershner. Its producer, Jack Schwartzman, associated with Kevin McClory, managed to lure Sean Connery to reprise an alternative version of Operation Thunderbolt.
