Meanwhile, Harry is informed by Paul about the dog track incident and is told by DCI Kavanagh that the Harrigan family is in a dangerous "death spiral," with internal chaos and a broken chain of command. Harry suspects that Gakbu is being manipulated by Kat McAllister, a powerful figure in the criminal world. Maeve secretly meets with Eddie at a greasy spoon diner, where she is given £30,000 and told that there are "big plans" for Gina. Harry investigates a witness who came forward about the dog track events, leading to a tense confrontation where Dean is forced to retract his statement. Kevin confesses to Harry about betraying his father, saying he believes he can protect himself, even though he sees himself as the weakest link in the family. In another subplot, Seraphina approaches Kat McAllister at a public speech, proposing a business partnership and offering her half of the Harrigan family’s revenue for the next five years. Kat agrees to consider the deal and gives Seraphina a number to use when speaking with other family members. Meanwhile, Colin offers Kat a "brave knight" to act on her behalf, similar to how Harry serves the Harrigans. He claims this man will help run London with Kat’s guidance, and she will ultimately own him. As tensions rise, Harry confronts Gakbu with the help of family members, while Colin sets up a potential conflict with Frankie at a barbecue.
