New event area for tourism professionals

The World Tourism Fair has announced the creation of the Travel Business Hub, a new event area designed for networking and business exchanges among tourism professionals. This initiative aims to provide a dedicated space for industry professionals to connect, collaborate, and explore opportunities.

Dates and location of the Travel Business Hub

The Travel Business Hub will be held on Thursday, March 11, and Friday, March 12, 2027, in hall 7.1 of Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. It will take place alongside the public fair, which runs until March 14, offering attendees the chance to engage in both events.

Structure of the Travel Business Hub

The Travel Business Hub will be organized into three distinct areas: Travel Business Meetings, Travel Business Workshops, and the Travel Business Lounge. Each section is designed to cater to different aspects of professional engagement and learning within the tourism sector.

Travel Business Meetings and networking opportunities

The Travel Business Meetings section will enable professionals to schedule meetings with potential partners and the media. Ten Travel Meeting Suites will be available for booking, providing private spaces for focused discussions and collaboration over the two-day event.

Travel Business Workshops and educational content

The Travel Business Workshops will host conferences and sessions focused on current market trends, sector developments, and the challenges facing the tourism industry. These workshops aim to provide valuable insights and foster knowledge exchange among participants.

Travel Business Lounge for informal interactions

The Travel Business Lounge will serve as a space for informal conversations and networking, allowing professionals to build relationships and explore opportunities in a relaxed environment.

Partners and organizers involved

Several key partners have already committed to participating in the Travel Business Hub, including Adonet, the Travel Companies, Tourism & Handicaps, the French Federation of Technicians and Scientists of Tourism (FFTST), and TourMaG. These organizations are expected to contribute to the event's success and relevance.

Statement from the fair's director

Christel Marzullo, director of the World Tourism Fair, emphasized that the Travel Business Hub offers a new business meeting opportunity in the middle of the year. The event is specifically targeted at destinations, tourism organizations, tour operators, travel agencies, accommodation providers, and transporters.

Combining participation in both events

Professionals attending the Travel Business Hub will also have the option to participate in the public fair, which welcomed over 73,300 visitors in 2026. This dual participation allows attendees to engage with both the industry and the general public, enhancing the overall experience.
