Tram lines stop at noon on October 31

In Grenoble, the five tram lines—A, B, C, D, and E—will stop operating around noon on Saturday, October 31, due to disruptions linked to social movements and a procession of demonstrators. This decision was made by the M réso network, which released a detailed plan of disruptions related to these events.

Tram services affected in the evening

Buses will also be rerouted or interrupted in the evening, with a return to normal operations expected on Sunday, November 1. The Mixed Mobility Syndicate of the Grenoble area (SMMAG) decided to keep partial tram services running, as reported by Le Dauphiné Libéré.

Tram line A returns to depot early

On line A, trains will begin returning to the depot starting at 11:30 a.m. The traffic notice for this line indicates an interruption until the end of service during the night of Saturday to Sunday. This affects both travel within Grenoble and transfers from surrounding areas like Fontaine, Échirolles, Saint-Martin-d'Hères, or Saint-Égrève.

Partial service on Chrono and Proximo lines

The Chrono and Proximo lines will maintain partial service during the day, but with reduced itineraries. The Chrono line is expected to stop operating around 8 p.m., while several Proximo routes will also see early service closures. Adjustments vary by line and the areas they serve.

Altered routes for several lines

The C11 and C12 lines will take altered routes between Montbonnot-Saint-Martin Pré de l’Eau and Grenoble Esclangon, via the southern bypass, the A480, and Oxford. The C13 will also be rerouted between the Lesdiguières Stadium and Esclangon. Among the Proximo lines, the 16, 17, and 25 will have limited routes and detours. Travelers must verify their specific line and stop, as the deviations are not uniform across the network.

Flexo lines and call center remain active

The Flexo lines and the Flexo+ PMR service are operating normally, according to the M réso statement. The network's call center will continue to assist travelers, and an Infotrafic section on the official website provides detailed updates line by line. A return to normal operations is expected on Sunday, November 1, depending on the situation.
