Sabrina Washington, one of the original members of the British girl group Mis-Teeq, has announced a solo headline tour following the group’s recent reunion at Wembley Arena. Mis-Teeq, which also includes Alesha Dixon and Su-Elise Nash, was a prominent act in the early 2000s, known for hits like "Scandalous" and "All I Want." The group disbanded in 2005 after their record label faced financial difficulties, but they recently reunited for a special one-off concert in London on 12 September. Following the event, the group has decided not to pursue further reunion shows, prompting Washington to launch her own solo tour celebrating the group's legacy. The tour, titled "A One Night Stand Just Ain't Enough," is named after a lyric from Mis-Teeq's hit song "Scandalous." According to the press release, the tour will not be a traditional greatest hits show but rather an immersive experience that brings audiences back to the club culture of the early 2000s, when UK Garage and R&B were dominant in the music scene. The show will feature DJs, dancers, and special guest appearances, with different performers appearing at each venue. The tour aims to recreate the atmosphere of that era, bringing together the artists, songs, and sounds that defined a generation. Sabrina Washington expressed that the response to the Mis-Teeq reunion had been overwhelming and that the tour allows her to celebrate the group's music in her own way. She emphasized the importance of connecting with fans who have supported the group for years and sharing the experience of their music in a new format. The tour will take place in several UK cities, with dates scheduled for early 2027. The tour dates are as follows: 5 February 2027 at the O2 Ritz in Manchester; 6 February 2027 at the O2 Academy in Birmingham; 26 February 2027 at the O2 Forum Kentish Town; 17 April 2027 at the O2 Academy in Glasgow; and 24 April 2027 at the O2 City Hall in Newcastle. Tickets for the tour will be available for general sale starting on Monday, 28 September.
