The Ugreen Nexode 55 W external battery is currently being sold on Amazon with a discount of 16 euros, bringing its price down from 79.99 euros to 63.99 euros during the back-to-school weekend. The deal is available until September 6. This portable power bank is designed to charge multiple devices and includes an integrated braided USB-C cable, two charging ports (USB-C and USB-A), and a large capacity of 20,000 mAh. Ugreen claims the battery is 35% more compact than an iPhone 17 Pro Max, making it a convenient option for users on the go. The USB-C cable, which is 18 cm long, doubles as a handle and can be used to charge smartphones. The USB-C port delivers 55 W of power, which is enough to charge 64% of a Xiaomi 17 Pro in just 30 minutes. However, the USB-A port is limited to 22.5 W, which is less powerful but still suitable for many devices. The battery can recharge more than three times a Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra and takes four hours to fully recharge itself. Notably, it can continue charging connected devices even while it is being recharged. The battery features a built-in screen that provides real-time information, such as the power being delivered through each port, the number of charge cycles, and alerts for issues like excessive heat. It is compatible with smartphones, tablets, and other connected devices like smartwatches or wireless headphones. The battery adjusts its charging power automatically based on the connected device, ensuring safe and efficient charging. Ugreen states that the battery can withstand high temperatures up to 135 °C and includes safety features to protect against sharp objects or compression. It has been tested under extreme conditions to ensure it will not explode or catch fire. These features make it a durable and reliable option for users who need a powerful and safe portable power source.
