Clasico match approaching

The upcoming Clasico match between Élan Béarnais and Limoges CSP is set for Sunday, October 25, at 7 p.m., with Limoges traveling to Pau in hopes of turning their season around after a challenging start.

Limoges struggles early

Limoges CSP has faced difficulties early in the season, suffering losses in Chalon, Dijon, and at home against ASVEL. The team is looking to use this high-stakes match as a chance to reset their campaign.

Hugo Invernizzi on focus

Hugo Invernizzi, a 33-year-old forward for Limoges, emphasized the importance of staying focused during the press conference ahead of the away game. He stressed that the team should concentrate on their preparation rather than the excitement of the historic rivalry.

Historic rivalry in French basketball

The rivalry between Pau-Lacq-Orthez and Limoges holds a special place in the history of French basketball. Invernizzi acknowledges the intense atmosphere expected in Pau but insists the team must remain disciplined and not be distracted by it.

Limoges' mixed performance

Despite a poor start to the season with only one win and three losses, Invernizzi believes the team has shown potential. He noted that the schedule was tough from the beginning, with difficult away games and a strong home opponent in ASVEL.

Need for precision and intensity

Invernizzi highlighted the need for greater precision in critical moments, pointing to the loss against ASVEL as an example. He outlined key areas for improvement, including focus, intensity, rebound control, and aggression, to ensure a better performance against Élan Béarnais.
