The Microsoft Wireless Xbox Series X/S Pink Controller is currently available on Amazon for €54.99, which is about 14% cheaper than its usual price. This discount is based on a comparison between the lowest price of the day and the average of the lowest prices offered by all retailers for the product last month. The calculation excludes prices from stores with unclear VAT policies to ensure fairness. The controller is considered one of the best in its category, offering a familiar design similar to the Xbox One controller but with some improvements. The new Xbox controller, introduced with the Xbox Series X/S consoles, is praised for its secure and comfortable grip, precise controls, and solid build quality. It also features a directional pad that is both accurate and comfortable, and it reduces latency when used with the Xbox Series X/S. The controller supports three connectivity options: radio, Bluetooth, and USB-C, giving users flexibility in how they connect to their devices. However, the controller has some drawbacks. It does not come with batteries or a charging cable, only two AA batteries. The directional pad is also noted for being somewhat noisy, and there's no significant technological advancement in the triggers or vibration feedback compared to older models. While the improvements from Microsoft are described as modest, they are enough to enhance comfort and precision, making the new controller a benchmark in the gaming industry. In comparison, the Nacon Pro Compact is an alternative designed for users with smaller hands, offering customizable features. However, it can only be used with a wired connection, which limits its usability and affects its value for money. Meanwhile, the Xbox controller remains a popular choice due to its reliability and comfort, even if it hasn't made major leaps in vibration technology, an area where competitors like Nintendo and Sony have more advanced systems.
