Zidane introduces new faces

Zinédine Zidane has named several new players for the French national team in his first selection of September, signaling that more unexpected choices might come in future matches. Players like Estéban Lepaul, Andy Diouf, Lucas Da Cunha, and Guillaume Restes were included, none of whom are usually considered by Didier Deschamps.

High-profile attackers already in the mix

The French team already includes well-known attackers such as Kylian Mbappé, Michael Olise, Ousmane Dembélé, and Désiré Doué. However, with Lepaul already getting a chance, there is talk that Ludovic Ajorque, a 32-year-old forward from Brest, might also be in the running for a call-up.

Ajourque's performance draws attention

Ludovic Ajorque recently stood out during Brest's 5-1 win over Angers, scoring a header goal in the 9th minute and assisting Pathé Mboup in the 54th minute. His size and technical skills made a strong impression, prompting interest from the national team coach.

Brest's coach supports Ajorque's call-up

Julien Lachuer, Brest's coach, believes Ajorque should be considered for the French team. He told Ligue 1+ that if Zidane was watching the match, he would push for Ajorque to be included. Lachuer praised Ajorque's dedication and noted that the coach has top attackers in France, but Ajorque still deserves recognition.
