One year after a provocative anti-violence action at the Grand Palais, a new list of 25 art world figures was sent ahead of the 2026 Paris art fair.
New list of names shared in art world
One year after a controversial action at the Grand Palais to highlight issues of sexist and sexual violence, a new list of names was sent by a collective to about 100 people involved in the art world in connection with the 2026 edition of the Paris contemporary art fair. List targets art professionals
The list includes twenty-five individuals, such as art school directors, artists, exhibition curators, and professors, who are named in a "2026 offenders' list" distributed before the contemporary art fair Art Basel Paris, which opens on October 22, 2026. Previous list posted in public space
This follows a previous list of thirty-four names that were accused of "harassment, assault, rape," which was posted exactly one year ago in the toilets of the Grand Palais, under the glass roof where the prestigious event takes place. Distribution method differs this time
This time, the list—a simple flyer, A4 size, with names and black and white photos—was sent by post to approximately 100 actors in the art world.
